Kevin entered sports marketing and ownership while working in the high tech industry ten years ago. A leading tech executive at firms such as AT&T, Tandem Computers, and Cisco Systems, he also has a passion for innovative start-ups and has been a Board member of over 20 technology and sports companies over the years. Besides management skills, his focus has been on marketing, communications, business development, and international business in Asia and Latin America. Turning to sports, he has been an owner of minor league teams, President of the Fullerton Flyers and Yuma Scorpions, Chief Executive Officer and President of the Arizona Winter League and Arizona Summer League, served as Commissioner of three leagues, and is a recognized expert on the business of professional sports by the Superior Court of the State of California. Brian MacInnes, PresidentBrian is the new President of the North American League and Diamond Sports and Entertainment. Brian worked at Deloitte & Touche, LLP, one of the Big Four accounting firms as an Audit Manager where he helped run audits of publicly listed international companies and Fortune 500 companies. He earned Deloitte’s International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) accreditation and served as an IFRS instructor for the firm. Brian is a licensed CPA in the state of California and holds a BA from the University of California, Santa Barbara in Business Economics with an Emphasis in Accounting. Former CEO of the Golden Baseball League and Diamond Sports and Entertainment, Dave has worked at such companies as Key Bank, Accenture, and Sparks.com. Dave also worked at the Office of the President of the United States on the budget for National Security. He has served as President of the Yuma Scorpions, Long Beach Armada, and Chico Outlaws and is a lecturer for the Sports Management Program at Stanford University. In addition, he is a recognized expert by the Superior Court of the State of California on the subject of minor league baseball and the business of professional sports. He holds an MBA and a BA from Stanford University. Dave is co-author of the book, "The Summer that Saved Baseball". Jim Peters is an experienced executive with over 20 years in the retail industry. During the last two decades Mr. Peters has been instrumental in helping to build, grow and run a number of different retailers. Mr. Peters has served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Ross Stores, Inc. (ROST) a NASDAQ 100 company, during which time he was there the company grew revenue from $2.4 billion to $4.2 Billion. Prior he was President of U.S. retail at Staples, INC. (SPLS) a Fortune 200 company. Stephen Bedford, Director of OperationsStephen graduated from De La Salle High School in 2000 and from the University of Arizona in 2004 with a BS in Business Administration. He started as a marketing/operations intern for the Golden Baseball League in 2006 and was later promoted to Business Operations Manager. Since then he has been involved in various facets of the GBL such as marketing, sales, operations, human resources, and player procurement. He also played an active role in the launch of both the Arizona Winter and Summer Leagues. Stephen was recently promoted to Director of Operations. Justin Reschke, Media Relations ManagerJustin graduated from San Ramon Valley High School in 2005, then The Ohio State University in 2010 with a BA in Sports Management. He worked with UC Santa Barbara's baseball team in the baseball operations department, and coached middle school and high school baseball at Hamilton Township in Hamilton, Ohio. Justin has been a Director at Skyhawks Sports Academy for the last six years and brings with him an extensive knowledge of the sports industry and the game of baseball. |
